Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 is the successor to the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. It is the Indian legislation for regulating the Criminal Administration of Justice Trail in India by providing for procedure to criminal case registration, investigation, trail, punishment, revision, appeal, bail, power of police, magistrates, judges etc. Besides, it also provides for maintaining law and order in the country etc.
